Tier one Mayfair-based hedge fund seeking a standout Senior Quant Researcher or Portfolio Manager to own the alpha and help redefine their Equities business with fresh strategies.
The firm does not wish to be overly prescriptive in defining the role as they don’t want to rule out new ideas and approaches to strategy. However, PhDs are strongly preferred and a quantifiable record of success (sharpe, yield, NET P/L) would be useful to understand the value-add.
Current Portfolio Managers or those close to that transition will be considered.
The day-to-day involves following trends, signal research and building strategies. There is lots of scope to define the role on your own terms if you have the experience and vision to do so.
Compensation is uncapped for the right person.
