Associate Director of Law and Governance

I am partnering exclusively with a South London–based, community-focused organisation that is entering an exciting period of sustained growth and development. As they expand their footprint across London, they are looking to appoint an Associate Director of Law & Governance to play a central role in strengthening their governance and regulatory framework.

This is a senior, high-impact position with responsibility across governance, risk, compliance, and legal liaison. It offers the opportunity to take real ownership, working closely with the executive team and board at a time where your input will directly shape how the organisation evolves.

• Supporting audit processes and annual reporting
• Acting as a key liaison with external legal advisors

The successful candidate will have:

• Proven experience in corporate governance, including board and committee support
• A background within housing, the public sector, or another regulated environment
• Strong understanding of risk management and compliance
• The ability to work with autonomy and confidence
• A high level of cultural awareness, with the ability to engage effectively across diverse communities
