Legal & Business Research Adviser | London (EC2N) | up to £45k with hybrid working
We are delighted to be working with a leading international law firm in the search for a Legal & Business Research Adviser to join its highly regarded global research and knowledge function.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced legal information professional to play a key role in supporting lawyers and business services teams with high-quality legal, commercial and sector-specific research. Working as part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team, you will deliver insight that directly supports client matters, business development and strategic decision-making across the firm.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting complex legal, business and industry research across a broad range of sources.
- Delivering clear, commercially focused analysis and research summaries.
- Producing current awareness updates, tailored alerts and market intelligence.
- Supporting pitches, panel appointments and wider business development initiatives.
- Designing and delivering engaging training programmes, research guides and digital learning resources.
- Supporting the evaluation and adoption of emerging legal technology and AI research tools.
- Managing online resources, subscriptions and knowledge platforms.
- Acting as a trusted adviser to stakeholders across the business.
The successful candidate will have significant experience within a law firm, with strong expertise in legal and business research. You will possess excellent analytical skills, outstanding communication abilities and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional client service.
Experience of training delivery, current awareness, and legal research platforms is essential. Exposure to AI-enabled research tools, library systems or knowledge management platforms would be highly advantageous.
