Job Title: Power BI Developer

Pay Rate: £416, £450, and £490 Umbrella

Location: London, Harbour Exchange

Any specifics re Location/ Hybrid model: 3 days a week in the office

Length of Contract: 6 Months

About the Role

We are hiring an experienced Power BI Developer at AVP level to deliver high quality, scalable business intelligence solutions.

This role focuses on designing and developing end to end reporting solutions that support data driven decision making across the organisation. You will work closely with both business and technology stakeholders to transform complex data into clear, actionable insights.

What You Will Be Doing

• Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports end to end
• Develop robust data models to support efficient analytics and reporting
• Create and manage ETL processes to integrate data from multiple sources
• Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Implement data governance, security including RLS, and best practices
• Optimise report performance through efficient queries and data modelling
• Integrate Power BI with cloud and on premise data platforms such as Azure Databricks Fabric
• Enable self service analytics through well structured datasets
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior developers

What We Are Looking For

• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI including DAX and Power Query
• Solid understanding of data modelling ETL processes and relational databases
• Proficiency in SQL and working with large datasets
• Experience with Power BI Gateways and deployment pipelines
• Knowledge of data security governance and RLS
• Exposure to Azure Databricks Microsoft Fabric or similar technologies
• Strong analytical thinking and stakeholder communication skills

Nice to Have

• Experience in Finance Risk or Regulatory reporting environments
• Exposure to broader Power Platform or BI tools
