Real Estate Paralegal | London | £31,000 | Permanent | Hybrid (post-probation)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking Real Estate Paralegal to join a busy residential property team in London. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced solicitors in a collaborative and supportive environment, gaining exposure across the full conveyancing lifecycle.

The Role

You will support a solicitor in managing a varied caseload of residential property transactions, assisting from initial instruction through to post-completion. This is a hands-on role offering client interaction and the chance to develop your technical knowledge within a respected legal practice.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting with the management of live conveyancing files from instruction to completion

Handling file opening procedures and AML compliance checks

Supporting exchange, completion, and post-completion formalities

Drafting financial statements and invoices

Submitting AP1 applications and SDLT returns

Liaising with clients, agents, and third parties throughout transactions

Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems

Providing general administrative and ad hoc support to the team

Key Requirements

Previous conveyancing experience within a legal environment (essential)

A law degree or equivalent qualification (preferred)

Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines

Confident communicator with good interpersonal skills

Proactive, detail-oriented, and commercially aware

A flexible team player with a positive and professional approach
