Delivering high-quality projects across commercial, residential, and mixed-use schemes they've seen an increase in projects, turnover, and ultimately profit and are a now looking to bring in an experienced Design Manager who understands the realities of delivering drylining and SFS packages.
The Role
You’ll take ownership of the design process from pre-construction through to delivery, working closely with commercial, operations, and site teams to ensure everything is coordinated, buildable, and delivered on time.
This isn’t a pure desk role, you’ll be involved, visible, and part of the delivery team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate the full design process across drylining / SFS packages with externals consultancies
- Liaise with architects, consultants, and clients to resolve design issues early
- Ensure drawings are compliant, buildable, and aligned with programme
- Support pre-construction with design input, value engineering, and sequencing
- Work closely with site teams to ensure smooth handover and delivery
- Identify and manage design risks and clashes
What They’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Design Manager (or Design Coordinator stepping up)
- Background in drylining, interiors, or SFS is essential
- Strong understanding of construction detailing and buildability
- Comfortable working across multiple stakeholders and fast-paced projects
- Proactive, solutions-focused mindset
