Job Title: Senior Claims Executive – Professional Indemnity (Solicitors & Accountants)

Location: London

Salary: £50,000 - £70,000

Role Summary:

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Professional Indemnity Claims professional to join a respected London-based team specialising in solicitors and accountants risks. This is a highly visible, heavily client-facing role suited to someone who enjoys building relationships, advising stakeholders, and taking ownership of complex claims matters. You’ll join a business that values expertise, promotes internally, and offers a clear path for progression.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of Professional Indemnity claims involving solicitors and accountants, handling technically engaging matters from notification through to resolution
• Act as a key client contact, building trusted relationships and delivering a high standard of service throughout the claims lifecycle
• Liaise with insurers, legal representatives, brokers and internal teams to drive positive outcomes and strengthen market relationships
• Provide strategic and technical guidance on coverage, liability and claims handling approach
• Negotiate settlements and progress claims efficiently, giving you ownership and autonomy
• Represent the business confidently in client meetings, reviews and ongoing relationship management

Requirements:

• Experience handling Professional Indemnity claims
• Exposure to solicitors’ and/or accountants’ risks
• Strong client-facing skills with confidence managing external relationships
• Strong technical claims knowledge and commercial awareness
• Ability to prioritise a varied caseload in a fast-paced environment
• Insurance, broker, legal practice or claims background considered
