Paralegal – Clinical Negligence (London)

I am seeking a motivated Paralegal to join a busy Clinical Negligence team based in London. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting fee earners on a varied caseload while developing your own legal skills under supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist solicitors with the day-to-day management of clinical negligence cases
• Draft legal documents, correspondence, and witness statements using precedents
• Undertake legal research and present findings clearly and accurately
• Liaise with clients, experts, and third parties, providing a professional and empathetic service
• Maintain accurate and well-organised files (electronic and hard copy)
• Support file management processes, including compliance with risk and regulatory requirements
• Handle general administrative duties to support the wider team
• Work towards individual and team targets, ensuring deadlines are met

About You

• Law degree (2:1 or above) or equivalent qualification (e.g. GDL/CILEx)
• Previous experience in clinical negligence or personal injury (preferred)
• Strong drafting and legal research skills
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Strong communication skills and a client-focused approach
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and case management systems
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
