£50,000 – £60,000 DOE

About You

  • At least 5+ years' post-graduate experience in Quantity Surveying within construction, preferably with a Main Contractor
  • Demonstrated experience across commercial, residential, or refurbishment projects
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts and commercial procedures
  • Excellent numerical, analytical, and negotiation capabilities
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Competent in Microsoft Office and commercial management software
  • Full driving licence (preferred but not essential)
  • Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline
  • Working towards or already achieved chartered status with RICS

What You'll Do

  • Oversee project costs, manage variations, and produce accurate cost reporting
  • Handle interim valuations, payment submissions, and final account agreements
  • Review subcontractor applications and variation claims
  • Assist with cashflow control and reduce commercial risk exposure
  • Identify value engineering solutions to improve cost efficiency
  • Ensure adherence to contract terms and maintain comprehensive commercial records
  • Work closely with site teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
