The role

Thecommercialdisputeresolutionteamboastssomeenviableblue-chipclientsandacaseloadwhichincludescomplexdomesticandcross-borderdisputes.YouwillworkalongsidetwootherPartners,aswellasanAssociate,TraineeSolicitorandLegalSecretary.Thereisalsoawiderteamacrossthefirm'sotheroffices.

Aspartoftheteam,you’llbuildyourexperienceworkingcollaborativelyonsomechallengingdisputeswhilealsorunningandbuildingyourowncaseload.Theroleoffersasignificantlevelofvarietyandinterest.Youwillworkacrossarangeofsectorsandwork-types,whichmayincludecommercialcontractdisputes,insolvencydisputes,fraud,professionalnegligence,IPandinternationalarbitration.Clientswillspanmanysectors,includingfinancialservices,energy,hospitality,retailandtechnology.

Thefirm’sclientsaresignificantinsizeandanumberofthemoperateinternationally.

About you

PleaseapplyifyouareanexperiencedSeniorDisputeResolutionSolicitororPartnerwithaminimumof7yearsPQE.

You’llneedtobehardworking,resourceful,responsiveandresilient,withtheabilitytograspnewchallengesandareasoflawquicklyandaccurately.Youneedtobeabletoprovidepragmaticandcommercialsolutionstailoredtoarangeofdifferentclients.Youshouldhavetheabilitytosuperviseanddevelopothersandbewillingtoengageinpeer-to-peerdiscussionswithseniorcolleaguesaspartofaclose-knitteam.

Youshouldhaveafollowingofclientsorreferrersorhaveaproventrackrecordinwinningnewclients.Itisalsoessentialthatyouhaveexperienceofsupervisingmorejuniormembersofstaff.
