Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Practitioner & Compliance Manager to join our growing team. This is a hybrid role, combining service-based visits and home working. You will be primarily based in Surrey, with regular travel to support individuals across nearby areas and services. Our organisation currently supports 12 individuals in supported living environments, specialising in Autism and Learning Disabilities. This is a dual-role position combining PBS expertise with compliance and quality oversight, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and person-centred support.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and review Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plans
- Conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBA)
- Support and guide staff teams in delivering person-centred support
- Provide training, coaching, and mentoring to staff
- Monitor behavioural data (ABC charts, incident reports) and adapt plans accordingly
- Work collaboratively with families and multidisciplinary teams
Compliance & Quality Duties
- Ensure services meet CQC regulations and quality standards
- Carry out audits, spot checks, and service reviews during visits
- Oversee care documentation, including care plans, MAR charts, and incident reports
- Support operational teams in preparation for CQC inspections and PIR submissions
- Manage safeguarding concerns and support teams to take appropriate action
- Drive continuous improvement across all services
- Support and coach Team Leaders and service staff
Requirements
- Experience working with individuals with Autism and Learning Disabilities
- Strong knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)
- Good understanding of CQC standards and compliance
- Experience within supported living or social care settings
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
- Qualification in Psychology, Behaviour Analysis, or Health & Social Care
- PBS / ABA training or certification
- Experience in compliance, audits, or quality assurance
- Familiarity with systems such as Nourish or similar
