We’re working with a leading national law firm on an excellent opportunity for a Legal Director to join their highly regarded Commercial Dispute Resolution team in Birmingham. This is a standout opportunity for a senior disputes lawyer to work closely with a recognised Partner, play a key role in the continued growth of the Birmingham office, and benefit from a genuine pathway to partnership.

The Role

• Manage a varied caseload of complex commercial disputes across multiple sectors.
• Work closely with senior leadership and collaborate with colleagues across the national team.
• Deliver strategic, commercial advice to a diverse client base.
• Lead business development initiatives and help grow the Birmingham disputes offering.
• Supervise and mentor junior lawyers within the team.

About You

• Qualified solicitor with significant experience in commercial dispute resolution.
• Strong technical background across litigation, arbitration and/or mediation.
• A proven track record in business development and client relationship management.
• Experience supervising junior lawyers and supporting team development.
• Commercially minded, ambitious and keen to play a strategic leadership role.
