The role
- Take ownership of internal model validation and bring it fully in-house
- Build and develop a validation framework from the ground up
- Lead key elements of the risk framework and shape how it evolves
- Present risk and capital insights directly to senior committees and the board
- Oversee and develop a junior manager within the risk team
- Influence risk appetite, ORSA and broader risk strategy
- Deliver technical challenge across model assumptions and outputs
- Work closely with senior stakeholders across risk, capital and the wider business
