Site Manager

EDM Recruitment Group are seeking an experienced Site Manager for a short-term contract assignment, with the potential for further opportunities upon completion.

Location: St Andrews, Fife
Start Date: Monday 27th April
Duration: 4 weeks (with possible extension or future placements)

The Role:

You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard. This is a hands‑on role requiring strong leadership, clear communication, and the ability to manage subcontractors effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate all on-site activities
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations
• Supervise subcontractors and site personnel
• Monitor progress against project timelines
• Maintain quality control standards
• Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and project teams
• Resolve any on-site issues efficiently

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager in construction
• Valid SMSTS certification
• CSCS card (Black or Gold preferred)
• First Aid at Work certification
• Strong organisational and leadership skills
• Ability to hit the ground running in a fast‑paced environment
