The Accountancy & Finance Division is exclusively partnering with a reputable and established company in the education sector in recruiting an experienced Finance Business Partner.
Working as part of a central finance function, this role offers the opportunity to partner closely with senior leaders across multiple sites, providing meaningful financial insight that supports better decision-making and long-term sustainability. You will play a key role in translating financial data into clear, actionable guidance while helping to drive efficiency and value.
Key Responsibilities
- Support senior leaders with budget setting, monitoring and management
- Produce forecasts and scenario modelling to inform strategic decisions
- Deliver monthly management accounts with clear variance analysis and commentary
- Provide clear, non-technical financial insight to stakeholders
- Analyse financial performance, highlighting risks and opportunities
- Support procurement processes to ensure compliance and value for money
- Oversee financial aspects of contracts, tenders and high-value spend
- Contribute to cost‑saving initiatives through centralisation and efficiencies
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, controls and regulatory requirements
- Support capital projects including planning, monitoring and reporting
- Assist with business cases and funding applications
- Promote consistent use of financial systems and processes
- Build strong working relationships with operational and leadership teams
- Collaborate with HR and operational teams on workforce and budget planning
Skills & Experience Required
- Experience in budget management, forecasting and financial reporting
- Strong understanding of financial controls, analysis and management accounting
- Ability to present financial information clearly to non‑financial stakeholders
- Experience working in a customer‑focused or stakeholder‑driven environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent numeracy and analytical ability
- Highly organised with the ability to meet deadlines independently
- Good IT and systems skills
