Sharp Consultancy is delighted to be working with a growing and forward‑thinking business as they look to appoint an Assistant Finance Business Partner to their finance team.

Working closely with a senior Finance Business Partner, this is a commercially focused role where you will play a key part in supporting key internal stakeholders with meaningful financial insight. You will gain exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis, helping to drive informed decision‑making across the business.

This is an excellent opportunity for a part‑qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) candidate looking to move into a more commercially focused role, with clear progression into a Finance Business Partner position.

Key responsibilities

• Supporting the budgeting and forecasting process.
• Producing and analysing monthly management accounts and KPIs.
• Partnering with non‑finance stakeholders to provide financial insight.
• Assisting with variance analysis and performance reporting.
• Supporting business cases and ad‑hoc commercial analysis.
• Contributing to continuous improvement of processes and reporting.

Who you are

• Part‑qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or actively studying.
• Experience in commercial finance.
• Confidence to communicate with both finance and non‑finance stakeholders.
• Be keen to develop within a commercial finance / business partnering environment.
