About The Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised indirect Corporate Services & Facilities Procurement Manager to join our team. As a Category Manager, you will play a crucial role in streamlining our Professional Services and Facilities procurement process, ensuring cost‑effectiveness and strategic sourcing. You will collaborate with various departments to understand requirements from across the business, evaluate supplier options, negotiate contracts and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Typical projects and desired experience might include:
- HR – Recruitment agencies, temps, employee benefits, payroll systems, Private Medical Insurance.
- FM – Property Leasing (non‑retail), retail operations, maintenance.
- Consultancy – Management consultants, legal/finance services.
- Travel & Expenses – Travel management (corporate & events), route deals, hotel rooms/car rental/travel insurance.
- Financial Services – Banking partnerships, treasury services, insurance, auditing/accounting services.
As a Procurement Manager – Professional Services
- Develop procurement strategies that align with the organisation’s goals and objectives, identifying opportunities for cost savings, supplier consolidation and process improvements.
- Sourcing and vendor management – identify potential service providers, evaluate capabilities, negotiate contracts and manage ongoing relationships.
- Market research and supplier evaluation – conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, pricing and new service offerings; evaluate potential suppliers on quality, pricing, reputation and financial stability.
- Contract negotiation – negotiate favourable terms and conditions with service providers, covering pricing, service levels, performance metrics, intellectual property rights, termination clauses and other key provisions.
- Stakeholder engagement – collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand service requirements and align procurement activities with business needs.
- Compliance and risk management – ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations and ethical standards; assess and mitigate risks associated with vendor relationships and contracts.
- Performance monitoring and continuous improvement – monitor vendor performance, track key performance indicators, address issues or disputes and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

About You
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration or a related field. Relevant certification is an asset.
- Proven experience in procurement or a similar role with a strong understanding of Professional Services.
- In‑depth knowledge of procurement principles, practices and strategies.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
- Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in using procurement software and tools to streamline processes and generate reports.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
- Familiarity with ethical sourcing and sustainable procurement practices (preferred).
- Knowledge and experience of any procurement sourcing tool is a plus.
- Travel management experience is desirable.
