The Technical Sales Manager is responsible for driving business growth by combining technical expertise with strategic sales execution. This role bridges the gap between customers, sales teams, and engineering teams to deliver solutions that meet client needs and generate revenue.
The position involves understanding customer challenges, translating technical capabilities into compelling business value, and supporting the sales process from initial engagement through to deal closure. By aligning technical solutions with customer requirements, the Technical Sales Manager ensures successful outcomes for both the client and the organisation.
In simple terms, this role is not just about selling a product, but about understanding technology deeply and shaping it into solutions that customers are willing to buy.
Key Accountabilities/Primary Responsibilities:
- Promote the company product portfolio and expand the sales opportunities within the region by creating YouTube video and SNS messages, on-line seminar, etc.
- Conduct campaign management for marketing initiatives within EU
- Support European Regional Manager to create quotation
- Educating team members on the best business practices and giving technical advice
- Contribute to create new sales and marketing strategies and positions company products as the best solutions for prospective clients.
- Being aware of market trends and competitors
- Maintain the all-product configurations, options and price list structure and policy.
- Keeping customers up to date with the latest product development to increase the up sell opportunities.
- Answering to technical/product queries from customers and regional managers
- Contribute to team efforts
- Attending demonstration of LEADER products (Leader, PHABRIX, Leaderphabrix brand)
- Traveling within the assigned territory as and when required
Required qualification, experience, skills and knowledges:
- Degree in business, engineering or relevant.
- Proven track record of experiences in media/broadcast test and measurement industry at least 5 years
- Ability to explain technical specifications
- Autonomous, self-driven and business oriented
- Strong teamwork capability in the multicultural environment.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
