Salary: £93,764 - £100,983 (including Market Supplement*) – Local Authority terms & conditions; NHS Pension available for those on the NHSPS.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Children and Young People and Healthcare Public Health portfolios.
• Act as Training and Development lead for the department.
• Provide strategic public health leadership across programmes.
• Transform public health outcomes for Walsall residents.
• Build constructive relationships with senior colleagues in local authorities, NHS and partners.
• Utilise local, regional and national links to develop own areas of interest.
• Support evidence building and sustainable community health initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Included on the GMC Specialist Register in Public Health or the UK Public Health Register for Public Health Specialists, or in the final stage of Public Health training.
