Senior Mechanical Engineer

Responsible for contributing to the design and development of next‑subsea vehicles and offshore subsystems, including concept, engineering analysis, and prototype development for advanced robotic systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop innovative mechanical systems and subsystems within the R&D team.
• Deliver robust engineering designs supported by calculations, analysis, and technical justification.
• Lead and contribute to design reviews, ensuring engineering quality and technical integrity.
• Support prototype build, testing, and evaluation of new technologies and mechanical assemblies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and external partners to develop advanced solutions.

Requirements

• Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, Aerospace Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience working as a Mechanical Engineer or Senior Mechanical Engineer within an engineering or product development environment.
• Strong experience using 3D CAD tools such as Autodesk Inventor or similar.
• Experience carrying out engineering calculations and analysis using tools such as Mathcad.
• Proven experience designing complex mechanical systems, machinery, vehicles, or engineered structures.
