We’re looking for a Solution Architect who understands the complexity of regulated environments, can confidently navigate transformation at scale, and knows how to connect strategy to tangible outcomes.
About the Client as a Solution Architect
Our client is a boutique, architecture-led consultancy embedded in some of the UK’s most ambitious financial services programmes. They work closely with business and technology leaders to drive strategic change, from platform modernisation and core systems reengineering, to cloud adoption and integration overhaul.
You’ll be part of a highly credible, expert-led team shaping complex solutions across the full technology stack. What You’ll Be Doing as a Solution Architect:
Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end solutions across application, integration, and infrastructure domains Shape and steer technology change across major programmes, working closely with business and IT stakeholders Align solution design to business strategy, compliance standards, and long-term technology roadmaps Weigh options between cloud-native, hybrid, and on-prem approaches — always rooted in commercial and operational impact What You’ll Bring as a Solution Architect:
You’re a credible solution architect who thrives in fast-paced, high-compliance environments. You understand the realities of Financial Services, legacy complexity, data sensitivity, and the need to balance innovation with control.
Deep experience in Financial Services (e.g. banking, insurance, wealth, or capital markets) Proven success delivering architecture across large-scale or complex transformation initiatives Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and modern approaches (APIs, microservices, DevOps) Skilled in navigating delivery environments (Agile, hybrid, regulated change) Competitive package: up to £95k + car allowance + bonus + benefits
