Commercial Contracts Lawyer

We are working with an esteemed national law firm who are seeking an Associate Solicitor to join their Commercial Contracts team within their Southwest London office.

The Role

The successful candidate will join a highly regarded Commercial Contracts & Technology practice, working on a range of high-value commercial contract, IT and advisory matters. The candidate’s work will span across a diverse range of matters including competition, consumer law, life sciences, franchising matters, and data protection. Responsibilities also include drafting and negotiating agreements and providing regulatory advice (including data protection, privacy and Freedom of Information).

The candidate will also demonstrate a willingness to contribute to business development initiatives while managing client relationships.

Essential Criteria

• 3+ PQE;
• Strong background in commercial contracts and data privacy within a medium to large commercial firm;
• Excellent commercial awareness;
• Outstanding academics;
• Negotiation skills;
• Willingness to become involved in business development;
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
