Due to continued growth within the Family Law team, we’re looking for solicitors to join a well‑established legal services provider across a variety of experience levels, from newly qualified through to Senior Solicitor.
The organisation is known for doing things differently, with a strong focus on delivering an exceptional client experience. The Family Law department holds an impressive 4.8/5 Trustpilot rating, reflecting its commitment to high‑quality service.
In this role, you’ll manage a varied caseload of new and existing family matters from start to finish, always maintaining a client‑centred approach to targets and outcomes. You’ll use your expertise to achieve the best results for your clients while collaborating effectively with your team. There’s no need to bring a following; all clients will be sourced for you. As a growing business, there’s a strong commitment to ongoing development and opportunities to contribute to shaping the future of the department.
What you’ll do
- Take ownership of a mixed caseload of family matters, using strong negotiation skills to achieve the best outcomes for your clients (administrative and secretarial support provided)
- Use the case management system to ensure accurate and consistent record‑keeping
- Meet individual and team chargeable time and profit‑cost targets
- Draft and audit legal documents and correspondence
- For Senior Solicitor appointments, there will also be line management responsibilities for Associate Solicitors
This role would suit people who have
- Qualification as a Solicitor or CILEX lawyer, with experience handling privately funded family law matters
- A track record of working towards and achieving chargeable time/billing targets
- Strong IT skills, including experience with case management systems
- Excellent relationship‑building skills and a collaborative approach
- High attention to detail with strong organisational abilities
- Resilience and the ability to embrace change in a growing environment
What’s on offer
Here, you’ll have the opportunity to do meaningful work within a purpose‑driven organisation. Alongside a competitive salary, you’ll receive a comprehensive benefits package including:
- Coaching, training, and ongoing professional development
- Pension scheme with up to 10% employer contributions
- Annual incentive scheme
- 28 days’ holiday plus bank holidays (increasing to 32 with service)
- A range of employee discounts
- Free support for your mental, physical and financial wellbeing
