Business Development Manager
Our client is a leading B2B media and events company that connects professionals and organisations across the accounting and financial services industry nationwide.
In addition, they provide businesses with data-driven insights, host exhibitions and conferences, and deliver digital marketing solutions.
With a growing audience of over 300,000 subscribers, they are now seeking a Business Development Manager to help drive further expansion. This role is pivotal in generating new business opportunities and overseeing the full sales cycle.
This is a remote position but will involve monthly interaction with the team so candidates living in the South of England are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Identify & prospect new clients across the financial services & accountancy space
- Manage the full sales cycle with prospective clients
- Deliver insightful presentations to prospective clients to showcase value
- Support in transitioning new clients to the Account Management team
- Maintain accurate CRM system
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends & competitor activity
- Adapt sales strategies & approach dependent on market conditions
The Successful Candidate
- 2+ years B2B sales experience – new business experience is essential
- A connection to the following industries would be a plus: events, sponsorship, stands exhibitions, publishing, media
- Wider sales backgrounds would also be considered
- Ideally based in the South of England
Business Development Manager Package
- Basic salary: up to £40,000
- OTE: £50,000-£65,000
