The project
As part of a nuclear project, we are looking for a Project Contract Engineer capable of managing NEC3 contracts.
Key responsibilities
-Support the Project Manager in all contractual and commercial aspects of the project
-Implement and administer subcontract agreements in line with NEC3 contract requirements
-Monitor contract performance, identify risks and opportunities, and propose mitigation actions
-Manage contractual communications (notifications, compensation events, early warnings) in accordance with NEC3 procedures
-Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and traceability of contractual activities
-Liaise with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure smooth contract execution
-Contribute to claims management, dispute resolution, and contract close-out activities
Profile
-Initial experience working in the UK environment
-Proven experience in NEC3 contract management
-Experience in the nuclear industry is a plus, but not mandatory
-Strong command of English (written and spoken)
