Senior Data Analyst – Marketing & Commercial Performance
I'm looking for a Data Analyst to build and own a marketing and sales performance dashboard using Google BigQuery and Looker Studio.
This dashboard will support marketing, retail, and commercial teams with insights around campaign uplift, retailer investment impact, market share movement, and product halo effects across multiple markets.
Key Responsibilities- Build and deliver a Looker Studio dashboard underpinned by Google BigQuery
- Combine sales, campaign activity, and market share data into a scalable reporting model
- Define KPIs including uplift, baseline, market share, activity intensity, and halo effects
- Measure campaign effectiveness and retailer investment impact
- Analyse performance trends across products, retailers, and markets
- Work closely with stakeholders to translate business questions into reporting logic
- Present findings clearly and document models for handover
Requirements Essential- Strong experience as a Data or Insight Analyst in retail, e-commerce, marketing, or agency environments
- Advanced SQL and strong Google BigQuery experience
- Hands-on experience building dashboards in Looker Studio
- Strong understanding of data modelling and reporting layer design
- Experience analysing sales, campaign, and market share data
- Ability to communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders
Nice to Have- Python (pandas)
- Wider GCP experience
- Experience with GfK or similar syndicated market data
- Background in retail, consumer, or e-commerce environments
