Senior Resourcing Manager – Financial Services

My client is a global professional services organisation with a well-established alternative solutions division supporting financial services clients. They specialise in delivering innovative legal, regulatory, and compliance support through a combination of expert talent, technology, and flexible delivery models.
Working closely with financial institutions, they provide resourcing and consultancy solutions to help businesses strengthen compliance frameworks, manage regulatory change, and respond to increased scrutiny.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Resourcing Manager to play a key leadership role within my client’s financial services division.
This is a strategically important position responsible for driving and evolving the resourcing function across financial crime, compliance, and regulatory transformation. You will lead sourcing strategy, oversee delivery into client engagements, and support wider consultancy and programme-based work.
The role is central to strengthening client relationships, enhancing service delivery, and supporting continued business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop a small team of resourcing professionals
- Set clear goals, monitor performance, and build capability across the team
- Align resourcing delivery with wider business objectives and strategy
Resourcing Strategy & Talent Planning
- Develop and execute a forward-thinking resourcing strategy across advisory, project, and learning solutions
- Build and manage specialist talent pipelines aligned to key skill areas
- Strengthen data, insights, and market intelligence to improve hiring outcomes
Contractor Network Management
- Source, onboard, and manage a high-quality contractor network
- Ensure consistency, compliance, and strong engagement across all placements
- Focus on retention and long-term relationships within the contractor community
Client Engagement & Business Development
- Build trusted relationships with financial services clients
- Develop tailored resourcing solutions aligned to client requirements
- Support business development through identifying opportunities for repeat and expanded work
- Act as a senior contact for resourcing-related client discussions
Service Integration
- Oversee resourcing delivery across interconnected service lines (advisory, projects/remediation, and learning)
- Ensure alignment between resourcing and broader consultancy offerings
Governance & Quality
- Ensure all activity meets regulatory, client, and internal compliance standards
- Maintain robust processes, documentation, and controls
- Contribute to ongoing improvements in resourcing delivery frameworks
Market Insight & External Presence
- Stay informed on regulatory updates and trends within financial services
- Build and maintain industry networks to enhance market presence
- Provide market insight to support workforce planning, pricing, and client strategy
Skills & Experience:
My client is seeking a high-performing and commercially aware resourcing professional with:
- Experience leading or developing resourcing or recruitment teams
- Strong background in contractor recruitment within financial services (e.g. compliance, financial crime, AML/KYC)
- Experience within an agency, search firm, or consultancy environment
- Solid understanding of IR35 and contractor compliance, with the ability to advise stakeholders
- An established network within financial services compliance or financial crime
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (e.g. Bullhorn or similar)
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Strong organisational ability and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- A collaborative and proactive approach
