A leading international law firm is looking to recruit a Managing Associate (5+ PQE) to join its market-leading Real Estate team in Manchester.

The Role

You will take a senior role within the team, managing your own caseload while also working closely with partners on large-scale and high-value transactions.

Your work will include:

  • Advising on investment, development, acquisitions and disposals
  • Acting on landlord & tenant, asset management and property portfolio matters
  • Supporting major regeneration, infrastructure and development projects
  • Leading transactions and managing key workstreams from instruction through to completion
  • Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers
  • Contributing to business development and client relationship growth

You will work on projects spanning office, retail, leisure and large-scale regeneration schemes, often involving nationally significant developments.

The Real Estate team is one of the firm’s largest and most established divisions, advising a wide range of clients including institutional investors, developers, funders and major occupiers.

The Manchester team works on some of the most high-profile transactions in the region, combining strong transactional expertise with a commercial, business-focused approach.

The Candidate

  • UK qualified solicitor with 5+ years’ PQE in commercial real estate
  • Experience across investment, development, asset management or landlord & tenant work
  • Strong technical and transaction management skills
  • Experience supervising junior lawyers or leading workstreams
  • Commercially minded with an interest in client development and business growth
