Description
As the Distribution Centre Manager you will:
- Oversee the daily operations of the distribution centre in West Yorkshire, ensuring smooth and efficient processes
- Lead, develop, and motivate a team to achieve operational goals, as the operation experiencing significant growth
- Manage inventory control procedures to minimise waste and maximise efficiency.
- Ensure the supply chain is able to grow with site demands
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to improve operational workflows and reduce costs.
- Review capacity and work with stakeholders to ensure investment projects happen in a timely manner to enable growth (this will include headcount increase, training, systems development, facilities review, automation viability, expansion)
Profile
- A proven track record managing a busy warehouse / DC through growth, and ensuring the operation can scale inline with growing sales
- Comprehensive knowledge of distribution centre operations and inventory management
- Proven leader managing teams through growth providing training and development
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to optimise processes and resolve challenges.
- Ability to balance operational and strategy priorities to future proof the site
