Head of PE
This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a dynamic PE department across Key Stage 3 and 4, promote healthy lifestyles, and inspire pupils to achieve their personal best - both in and out of the classroom.
What You’re Doing
- Leading the PE department and overseeing curriculum planning, delivery, and assessment.
- Organising extracurricular sports, fixtures, and enrichment activities.
- Promoting physical wellbeing, teamwork, and resilience across the school.
- Supporting staff development and ensuring high-quality teaching and learning.
- Contributing to whole-school leadership and improvement.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching PE across key stages.
- Proven leadership or middle management experience (desirable).
- A commitment to inclusive, engaging, and high-impact PE provision.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- A passion for sport, health, and pupil development.
