We are now looking for a passionate and experienced Site Manager to lead this flagship-style location and drive it to great success.
Job Overview
As Site Manager, you will take full ownership of the café’s daily operations, leading from the front to deliver exceptional service, high-quality products, and strong team performance. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the site, from team leadership and customer experience to operational efficiency and financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
Site Operations & Leadership
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the site, ensuring smooth, efficient service
- Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team
- Create a positive, inclusive, and productive work environment
Customer Experience
- Deliver and uphold outstanding customer service standards
- Ensure every customer has a memorable experience aligned with The Milk Shed brand
- Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally
Product Quality & Innovation
- Maintain exceptional standards in coffee preparation and food service
- Ensure consistency, presentation, and speed of service at all times
Operations & Compliance
- Manage opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and site security
- Oversee stock control, ordering, and supplier management
- Ensure full compliance with health & safety and food hygiene standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation across all areas
Commercial Performance
- Drive sales through excellent service, team engagement, and upselling
- Monitor labour costs, rotas, and overall site performance
- Support local marketing initiatives and community engagement
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in a management role within hospitality, café, or retail
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Excellent barista skills and a passion for speciality coffee
- Enthusiasm for innovative food and beverage concepts
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
