Role
Partou Beech Green Day Nursery & Pre-school is seeking a minimum Level 3 Early Years qualified nursery practitioner to take on the full-time 40 hours per week role of Nursery Room Leader. You will oversee the daily running of a room and ensure children engage in stimulating activities that support their learning and development in line with the EYFS. You will lead and inspire your team, maintain a safe and inclusive environment, and build strong partnerships with childcare colleagues and families.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily running of a room, ensuring stimulating activities support children’s learning and development in line with the EYFS.
- Lead and inspire the team; model best practice and ensure safeguarding standards are met.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive environment for children and families.
- Build and sustain strong partnerships with families and childcare colleagues.
- Monitor and support the ongoing professional development of the room team.

- Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification
- Strong EYFS knowledge
- Proven experience leading a team in an early years setting
- Passion for early years education
- Confidence in supporting children’s learning and development
