Consultant in Forensic Psychiatry with Special Responsibility for Learning Disability

South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Trust is recruiting a Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist with special responsibility for Learning Disability to join the existing consultant team at Newton Lodge Medium Secure Unit, Fieldhead Hospital, Wakefield (WF1 3SP). This is a permanent, full‑time position with 10 programmed activities per week plus on‑call. Part‑time may be considered.

Closing date: 13 May 2026.

Starting salary aligns with point 04 of the consultant pay scale (£119,490 – £145,478). Placement review will be considered where applicable NHS consultant experience can be evidenced.
