Overview
An opportunity has arisen for a field-based Dispute Resolution Officer to join a well-established and well known commercial evolving company. As a Client Relationship Manager, you will liaise with customers face to face with a view to resolving any matters that may arise and find suitable solutions in a timely manner, negotiate contract terms to ensure continuity of business and provide a high-quality customer service by effectively communicating with the customer and internal colleagues to ensure the customers' requirements are met.
Responsibilities
- Coordinating own diary to visit customers that your office-based colleagues are unable to communicate with, with the aim to resolve any complaints or queries the customer may have and enable both parties to maintain a continued relationship.
- Be extremely confident in your ability to make on the spot decisions, whilst taking a calm, level‑headed approach to problem solving that is satisfactory to the customer whilst also protecting the companies' commercial position. This will include the negotiation of rates amongst other potential challenges you may be met with.
- Ability to manage a busy workload through a CRM system where time management is key.
- An in-depth geographical knowledge of Birmingham and the surrounding areas.
- The successful candidate will have recent experience in a similar role working in a fast‑paced environment. They will have strong negotiation, problem‑solving, communication and IT skills with an ability to organise and prioritise workloads to meet deadlines.
Qualifications
- Recent experience in a similar field‑based dispute resolution or client relationship management role.
- Strong negotiation, problem‑solving, communication and IT skills.
- Ability to organise and prioritise workloads to meet deadlines.
- Must be able to use a CRM system effectively.
- Geographical knowledge of Birmingham and surrounding areas.
- A clean UK driving licence.

Schedule
- Monday to Friday 8:30 - 5:00; may need to work later on some occasions to meet customers who only open during twilight hours.
