About the role
As an Engagement and Delivery Officer, you’ll play a vital role in helping young people across London build resilience and confidence for the future.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Identifying and building relationships with schools, colleges and community organisations
- Promoting and delivering Mental Health UK’s employment and money programmes for young people
- Delivering engaging group workshops and, where needed, targeted 1‑to‑1 support
- Developing local engagement strategies to reach communities where our programmes can have the greatest impact
- Overseeing programme delivery by freelance trainers, ensuring quality and compliance
- Gathering feedback and insight to help us continuously improve our impact
This is a field‑based role, working across London, with occasional travel to support engagement in other regions.
What you’ll bring
We’re looking for someone who is passionate about young people and mental health, and who enjoys building relationships in the community.
You’ll have:
- Experience engaging with schools, colleges or community organisations
- A proven track record of delivering workshops, training or programmes for young people
- Excellent communication skills and confidence using different engagement approaches
- The ability to work independently, manage priorities and respond positively to challenges
- Strong organisational skills, with experience of maintaining accurate records and reporting against KPIs
- A collaborative, flexible attitude and a willingness to get involved wherever needed
