NHS Supply Chain currently has an opportunity for aDeployment Managertojoin our team during an exciting period of transformation, working to make it easier for the NHS to put patients first and to deliver against our strategicobjectives.
We have an exciting opportunity for aDeployment Managerto join our new In-Hospital Services team. As the Deployment Manager, you willbe responsible forthe end-to-end deployment of inventory management solutions into NHS hospitals, driving and managing new & existing opportunities, and ensuring both customer and business goals are met. Managing a small team of deployment specialists, you will work collaboratively across a complex stakeholder landscape including NHS Supply Chain internal and external facing teams, hospital procurement, supply chain, clinical, IT and senior roles.

- Communicate the local action plan; explain how this relates to the function’s strategy and action plan and to the broader organisation’s mission and vision; motivate people to achieve local business goals.
- Execute and deliver elements of the digital road map,leveragingagile and design-thinking principles to drive sustainable implementation.
- Deliver small- or medium-scale projects while working within an established program management plan.
- Plan and deliver stakeholder engagement activities to develop effective working relationships for projects and to ensure that stakeholder needs and concerns areidentifiedand met.
- Participate actively in the development and nurturing of networks and relationships internally and externally to support successful implementation of digital initiatives.
- Support digital channel management through use of front-end interactive technologies, encompassing usability, design, user interface, and device strategy. Facilitate an understanding of engagement metrics and provide regular performance analysis.

What skills will help you thrive in this role?
- Previousexperience of managing low complexity projects and the ability to implement technical solutions into operational environments.
- A good understanding of project management methodologies (Waterfall/Agile) and change management principles
- Relevant Project Management qualification (e.g. APM, Prince 2) or equivalent level of experience
- Previousexperience working of working with an inventory management system, ideally within an NHS setting.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior internal and external stakeholders.
- A Clinical background would beadvantageousin this role.
- Knowledge of NHS products.
- Experience in managing projects
- Experience and knowledge of healthcare sector either public or private
- Good understanding of Logistics and Supply Chain organisations
- This is afield basedrole, so it is essential that you have your own transport for this role.
