We have a superb opportunity for a Project Engineer to join our continuing success story.
You will be delivering process improvement and transformation projects, providing technical support across design, documentation, procurement and project delivery.
We have been established for over 100 years, and are continuing to invest in our processes, products and people.
Relative commutable locations include Northfield, Kingswinford, Wolverhampton, Birmingham, Halesowen, Bridgnorth, Walsall, Dudley, Kidderminster, Cradley Heath, Great Barr and Rowley Regis.
Responsibilities
- Update and maintain Process and Instrumentation diagrams and equipment schedules
- Review process designs, layouts, and identify improvements
- Prepare technical specs, data sheets, and scopes of work
- Provide technical input across all project phases
- Support projects from concept through to commissioning
- Coordinate contractors and support technical evaluations
- Participate in risk assessments and safety reviews
- Assist with installation, testing, and handover
- Support procurement, supplier coordination, and cost tracking
- Identify and implement process and reliability improvements
- Capture lessons learned and improve engineering standards
- Ensure compliance with safety and company procedures
- Maintain accurate engineering documentation
- Support Operations and Engineering teams as needed
Qualifications
- Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Process Engineering (or similar)
- 2+ years’ experience in manufacturing/process environments
- Knowledge of mechanical and process equipment including pumps, valves, heat exchangers, and pipework
- Understanding of full project lifecycle
- Strong communicator, organised, and proactive
