To chaperone getting to, attending, and from family visits in the community.
A period of familiarisation is required for the successful applicant to get to know the client, then further duties may be discussed.
Driver with own car essential.
Experience of working with people with autism and learning difficulties preferred.
4-5 hours per week, split between various afternoons.
£13 per hour.
Potential for extra hours to cover holidays as required.
Emergency overnight cover may be available if main carer is unable to provide support/care. The overnight rate is paid at a flat rate of £72.40 for the period of 10.00pm – 8.00am and £13 per hour for any other hours outside of this period.
Successful applicants will be required to have an enhanced DBS check carried out prior to commencement. Employer will cover the cost.
