The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Site or Project Manager to lead the delivery of a prestigious, high‑profile mixed‑use leisure development in Hertfordshire. This is a flagship, multi‑million‑pound project requiring a confident, hands‑on professional who can take full ownership from early stages through to successful completion and handover. This role is site‑based due to the complexity, scale, and client‑facing nature of the project, offering the chance to play a pivotal role in delivering a landmark scheme. After this project is complete you will be required to travel and manage other schemes in and around the UK.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the full lifecycle of a major electrical project from pre‑construction through to completion and handover
• Lead all on‑site electrical operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
• Coordinate with main contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution
• Manage subcontractors, site teams, and suppliers effectively
• Monitor progress, produce reports, and manage project programmes
• Ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations and company standards
• Identify and mitigate risks, resolving issues proactively
• Maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and professional delivery

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience managing multi‑million‑pound electrical projects
• Strong background in either Electrical Site Management or Project Management roles
• Experience working on complex, large‑scale developments (mixed‑use or leisure experience desirable)
• Ability to manage projects from early stages through to handover
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage budgets and programmes
• Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g. NVQ, HNC/HND, or equivalent)
• SMSTS/SSSTS (or equivalent) preferred
