As a Junior Expense Analyst, you will join our Group Expenses team at the embryonic stages of your finance career. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn the fundamentals of financial analysis, reporting, and stakeholder management in a supportive environment. You’ll work closely with experienced analysts and business partners, developing your skills and gaining exposure to a wide range of finance activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of monthly accounts and basic financial reports.
- Support the team in gathering, checking, and inputting financial data.
- Help maintain accurate records and documentation for expense processes.
- Perform routine reconciliations and flag discrepancies to senior team members.
- Provide administrative support for planning and forecasting cycles.
- Assist with the collation of information for audits and compliance checks.
- Respond to straightforward queries from colleagues and stakeholders, escalating more complex issues as needed.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement discussions.

About You
- A keen interest in finance and a willingness to learn.
- Some experience in a finance, administration, or data entry role (desirable but not essential).
- Good attention to detail and accuracy in handling data.
- Good experience proficiency in Excel and a willingness to learn new systems.
- Good communication skills and a collaborative approach.
- Ability to manage time and prioritise tasks with guidance.
- A proactive attitude and openness to feedback and development.
