Overview

We’re looking for an Accounts Senior to join our Doncaster team, supporting a varied portfolio of owner‑managed businesses and SMEs. This role is ideal for an accountant who enjoys hands‑on client work and mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships
  • Production and review of management accounts
  • Preparation of corporation tax computations and returns
  • Supporting and mentoring junior colleagues
  • Acting as a key point of contact for clients, building trusted relationships
  • Identifying opportunities to add value and support clients beyond compliance

Key Requirements

  • ACA / ACCA qualified or studying towards qualification

Additional Requirements

  • Previous experience working within an accountancy practice
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident communicator with a client‑focused mindset
  • Organised, proactive, and able to manage deadlines effectively
