PMO Analyst

We’re looking for a PMO Analyst to join our Member Services team on a 6‑month fixed‑term contract, based in Darlington with hybrid working.

This is a great opportunity to provide hands‑on PMO support within a busy delivery environment, working closely with the PMO Manager and wider delivery teams to ensure governance, reporting, and coordination activities run smoothly.

The role

In this role, you’ll support the smooth running of the PMO function across a range of governance, planning, reporting and coordination activities. Working closely with delivery managers and stakeholders, you’ll help ensure accurate information, effective controls, and clear communication across programmes and initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing PMO support for meetings, forums and workshops, including minute taking, action tracking and upkeep of PMO documentation.
• Supporting governance processes, ensuring compliance with agreed structures and maintaining RAID logs, actions, decisions and meeting packs.
• Assisting with planning and scheduling activities, keeping plans up to date and ensuring data accuracy for reporting.
• Producing and maintaining management information, tracking delivery progress, identifying risks, and keeping stakeholders informed.
• Managing PMO administration activities such as mailbox and calendar management, purchase order and timesheet administration.
• Supporting delivery managers with coordination, documentation, change tracking and post‑meeting outputs.
• Analysing data to support PMO activities, including timesheet, financial and resource analysis.
• Working collaboratively across teams to support effective communication and delivery.

This is a practical, delivery‑focused role where attention to detail, organisation and proactive support really matter.

The person

We’re looking for a confident, organised individual who thrives in a structured environment and enjoys supporting teams to deliver effectively.

You’ll bring:

• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks, priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail, ensuring documentation and reporting are accurate and compliant.
• Clear communication skills, with confidence working with a range of stakeholders.
• A proactive mindset, able to spot issues early and help identify solutions.
• Strong IT skills, particularly across Microsoft Office, Teams and related tools.

Experience within a project, delivery or PMO environment would be beneficial, as would any recognised PMO or project management qualifications, but we’re most interested in your approach, capability and ability to add value quickly in a short‑term role.
