Do you enjoy helping people feel confident, supported, and well‑informed? If delivering great customer service and building strong relationships motivates you, you may be just what we’re looking for in a Lettings Adviser at Bromford.

Our lettings team manages the effective day‑to‑day delivery of lettings across the business. You’ll work closely with colleagues and local authorities to ensure fair and timely allocation of properties, guide new customers through the lettings process, maintain accurate records, set up tenancies and complete relevant pre‑tenancy checks, and collaborate with our empty homes team to minimise void time. You’ll also maintain and manage property shortlists according to Bromford’s and local authority requirements, ensuring a fair and transparent process.

The caseload is diverse, combining straightforward and complex cases, creating a dynamic and varied workload every day. You’ll help us meet key performance goals while the most rewarding part of this role is seeing people and families manage their own homes, build brighter futures, and thrive.

What we’re looking for

  • Customer focused experience: Previously worked in a customer‑facing role. Experience in housing or lettings is a plus, but a passion for customer service is most important.
  • Strong communication skills: Communicate warmly and effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Resilience and adaptability: Stay positive, proactive and composed when handling varied and challenging situations.
  • Organisational skills: Prioritise and manage workload efficiently.
  • Enthusiasm for the role: Commitment to helping customers find the right home where they can thrive.
  • Team player: Thrive in a high‑performing team, helping meet KPIs while letting homes fairly and transparently in line with policies.
  • Tech‑savvy: Strong IT skills, keen attention to detail, and excellent work ethic.
  • A great ambassador: Embody BFL’s values and positively represent the company.

You’ll be based in our Tewkesbury office with regular home working available. A basic DBS check is required.
