As a Technical Pre-Sales Engineer / Sales Engineer, you’ll sit at the intersection of technology, customer engagement, and revenue generation.

You’ll play a pivotal role in translating complex technical capabilities into clear business value, partnering closely with sales to win new customers and shape long-term solutions.

This is a high-impact, customer-facing role where your input directly influences deal success and product direction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the full sales lifecycle: discovery – solution design – close
  • Lead technical workshops, demos, and proof-of-concepts
  • Act as a trusted advisor to enterprise customers
  • Translate requirements into scalable, high-performance solutions
  • Design architectures across networking, security, and infrastructure environments
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks early

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Product & Engineering to influence roadmap direction
  • Support RFPs, RFIs, and technical due diligence processes
  • Ensure seamless transition from pre-sales to delivery
  • Contribute to demo environments and technical collateral
  • Stay ahead of cybersecurity, networking, and cloud trends
  • Continuously improve pre-sales processes in a scaling business

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven background as a Sales Engineer / Solutions Engineer / Pre-Sales Consultant
  • Strong knowledge of networking, network security, and infrastructure
  • Experience with technologies such as Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet, HPE
  • Ability to deliver compelling technical presentations and demos
  • Commercial mindset—able to link technical solutions to business outcomes

Highly Desirable

  • Experience in cloud, SaaS, APIs, or distributed systems
  • Exposure to enterprise customers and complex sales cycles
  • Understanding of encryption, PKI, or emerging security technologies
  • Experience responding to RFPs and technical evaluations
