They are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer who can help take the business forward, bringing 3D design capability, finite stress analysis experience, innovative design ideas and supporting calculations.

Responsibilities of the Mechanical Design Engineer:
- Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies
- Produce accurate 2D and 3D drawings for manufacture
- Work closely with production and fabrication teams to ensure designs are practical
- Liaise with customers and internal teams on design specifications
- Support projects from concept through to completion
- Ensure all designs meet industry standards and regulations
Requirements of the Mechanical Design Engineer:
- Mechanical Engineering qualifications
- Minimum 2 years’ experience within a Mechanical Design Engineer role
- Experience using 2D and 3D AutoCAD
- Ability to produce detailed engineering drawings for manufacture
- Experience with finite stress analysis, FEA and engineering calculations
- Automotive industry experience (desired)
- Experience designing commercial vehicles, pressure vessels or tanks (desired)
