Field Service Engineer in Newcastle upon Tyne

Questech Recruitment is offering HGV Technicians to join a global vehicle manufacturer expanding its Field Service teams around London.

The role is paid door to door and offers benefits including a competitive salary, 25 days holiday, time and half over 45 hours, and a bonus scheme.

The Role

• Service, maintenance and repair of heavy vehicles
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
• Carry out inspections, servicing and breakdown response
• Work independently across multiple customer sites
• Ensure all work is completed to high safety and quality standards

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience working on HGVs
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
• Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems
• Relevant qualifications (NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent)
• Self‑motivated and good customer service skills

What’s On Offer

• Competitive salary of £45,000 – £48,000 OTE
• 45 hours per week between 08:00 and 17:30 Monday to Friday; flexible 40‑hour option available
