Overview
A rapidly growing and innovative facilities management provider is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to deliver high-quality electrical compliance and maintenance services across a diverse portfolio of customer sites nationwide. Responsibilities
- Install, maintain and repair electrical systems, ensuring all work is completed in line with current regulations and industry standards.
- Act as a trusted representative on client sites, delivering both planned and reactive works efficiently, safely and to a consistently high standard.
- Carry out proactive inspections, complete risk assessments, and ensure all contractual service level agreements and performance targets are met.
- Build strong relationships with customers and site teams, communicate clearly, and maintain a professional and approachable presence at all times.
- Accurately record work, complete certification and manage documentation through internal systems, and proactively resolve issues while escalating concerns where necessary.
Qualifications
- Full UK driving licence and ability to travel to sites across the UK.
- Fully qualified to industry standards, including 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- Recognised electrical apprenticeship such as NVQ Level 3 with AM2 or equivalent.
- Inspection and testing qualifications, and a JIB Gold Card.
- Minimum of five years' post‑qualification experience working across a range of electrical systems.
Working Conditions
Travel to sites across the UK, including occasional overnight stays, is required. The role also involves participation in an out‑of‑hours rota. All necessary tools and uniform will be provided.
Skills and Attributes
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong communication and IT skills are important, as is a customer‑focused mindset and a positive, can‑do attitude.
