Fire & Security Engineer – Peterborough

A leading UK-wide facilities management provider is looking for a Fire & Security Engineer to support retail sites across Peterborough.

This is a field-based role delivering PPM and reactive maintenance across fire and security systems, working within a structured, compliance-led environment.

Responsibilities

  • Service, maintain and repair Fire Alarms (BS 5839), CCTV, Access Control, EAS and PA systems
  • Carry out planned maintenance and reactive call-outs
  • Ensure systems remain compliant and fully operational
  • Liaise with site teams and complete digital reports
  • Participate in on-call rota

Requirements

  • Experience with Fire Alarms and CCTV (essential)
  • Knowledge of BS 5839 standards
  • Electrical qualification (NVQ / City & Guilds)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Comfortable working independently in a field-based role
