Apprentice Mobile Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £17,000

Location: Manchester

What You’ll Be Doing

As an Apprentice Mobile Engineer you will work across a range of client sites providing maintenance and repair support.

• Diagnose and fix HVAC, plumbing and electrical faults and perform planned preventative maintenance.
• Collaborate with experienced mentors to gain hands‑on experience.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) standards and keep safety and sustainability a priority.

Education and Training

You will be enrolled onto a Property Maintenance Operative Level 2 qualification, running for 18 months, with support from GLP Training.

• Develop core maintenance skills and perform routine tasks.
• Use a broad range of trade skills, including carpentry, joinery, plumbing, plastering, brick and block work, external works, tiling, painting and decorating.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older by 31 August 2025.
• Valid UK driving licence.
• Strong interest in the chosen field.
• Dedication to complete the apprenticeship and grow with Mitie.
