We are supporting a Battery Energy Storage System project and are seeking an experienced SCADA / Automation Engineer to support commissioning and integration activities on a live, safety‑critical site. This is a hands‑on engineering role, requiring strong practical experience rather than purely design or office‑based SCADA work.

Key Responsibilities

• Support SCADA and automation system integration on a BESS site
• Work with PLC systems and industrial communications
• Configure and troubleshoot Modbus (TCP/RTU)
• Support fibre optic communications setup and testing
• Assist with commissioning and site integration activities
• Map SCADA systems to physical site equipment
• Provide both on‑site and remote technical support

Essential Experience

• Strong SCADA / Automation engineering background
• Hands‑on experience with PLC systems
• Solid understanding of Modbus communications
• Experience with fibre optic / industrial networking systems
• Commissioning / installation / site‑based experience
• Comfortable working in live operational environments
• Must be hands‑on and technically delivery‑focused

Desirable

• BESS / battery storage / renewables experience
• Exposure to IEC 61850 environments
• HMI / systems integration experience
